The Hockey Writers has you covered with two articles with respect to Team Canada Selection Camp.

1. RSVP – Team Canada World Juniors Selection Camp Invitees Named (via THW)

Excerpt:

It’s the be all and end all for many hockey fans and media– especially those with a special interest in the young guns of the game. It is a chance for the futures of the game to shine on a world stage, and for viewers to get to see these young athletes compete against many of their top peers.

Preposterous NHL contracts are out the window. Passion. National pride. Youthful enthusiasm. Everything that’s right about the game of hockey is portrayed in its finest form at the World Junior Championships.

Today, the countdown to Buffalo unofficially begins as Hockey Canada announced invitees to their December team selection camp.

2. WHL porspect analysyt Kelly Friesen digs deeper into the 17 invitees from the Dub.

*Of course, Brayden Schenn is also at the forefront of Team Canada candidates now that the Kings have sent him back to the WHL to lace 'em up for the Brandon Wheat Kings. (LAKingInsider)
