Introduction: "My boy is gonna play in the Big League"

Tom Cochrane sang an acoustic version of his hockey anthem, Big League, (click above title for link) in Vancouver in October 2008 as a tribute to the memory of the highly talented prospect Luc Bourdon, who's hockey career and life came to a tragic end by an unfortunate motorcycle accident earlier in 2008.

This song epitomizes what I'd like this blog to become - a blog to provide information and insight on the future of hockey- the prospects. I am a sports fanatic and analyst who follows various sports - especially hockey, football and soccer. I live and breathe hockey, however, and have a keen interest in hockey prospects - scouting and following the junior and European ranks to analyze the top-rated young guns, and to uncover those hidden gems who have yet to be polished. I will also cover current NHL events and players, international hockey tournaments, fantasy hockey, trade speculation, and the annual NHL entry draft. As well, I will be interviewing various sports and hockey personalities.
If you have any questions, comments or requests, do not hesitate to post a comment or contact me directly.

Let's get this hockey journey started...Stay tuned to "The Hockey Spy" and develop your inside edge on the hockey world!

Keep your stick on the ice!
